The 30m high Malmora Falls's name comes from Toddy. That is related to the word ‘Malmuraya’, which is in common usage amongst toddy tapers. In surroundings of the fall a naturalized tree named 'Kitul' (Caryota Urens) grow. The tree blooms between a time spans of 8-10 years. Its flower is tapped 3-4 times a day for produce.
The fall is in Lankagama village, Galle District, Hiniduma Electorate. To find the fall, trek upward for 2km from Lankagama Kekuma Falls.
