The 102m Mahakandura Falls is served by water from the Katukelle Estate (1200m). Below the fall is a canal network, constructed in 1888. Take the Ragala - Kandy road for about 42km. The fal is located between the 25th and 26th mile posts. The nearest town is Hanguranketha, and the Hanguranketha rest-house is 13km away.
