The 20m-high falls are formed by the Punagala and Alikola Rivers, which both flow from the Maha Kande Mountain’s eastern slope. The falls flow into the Kirindi River.
The falls are situated in the Badulla District. To get to them, take the road from Koslande via Punagala to the Maha Kande junction. From here take the footpath to the falls.
