Kegalle |
This 6m fall can be viewed from close range due to a convenient nearby rocky ledge. After the fall, the flow of the water is often obscured as it flows through a narrow gap under rocks. Further downstream, a 3m-long crevasse can be found, and the water is once again hidden amongst the branches of trees, only to emerge again beneath a rock protuberance.
Situated in the Kegalle District, Dedigama Electorate. Head from Colombo along the Colombo - Kandy road to the Pasyala four-way junction and turn right to follow the Attanagalla road for around 4km. At Haggala junction, turn left onto the Algama road, pass through Algama and continue to Uduwaka where the fall can be found.
