Shiva Kovil (number 2)

This is supposed to be one of the oldest buildings to survive. This is thought to be built by Tamil rulers (10th century) who initially establish their capital in Polonnaruwa. Completely made out of stone, this buiding has been well preserved. Inside a “Shiva Linga” can bee seen.
