Kotamudungala Raja Maha Viharaya
This cave temple is thought to be built by King Vatta Gamini Abaya aka King Walagamba between 103 BC - 89BC, during his hiding from South Indian invaders.
The temple can be reached from Kandy - Kurunegala Road. Turn to the Harankahawa-Bokkawela road at Arambekade junction. The temple is about 8km down this road in the village of Molagoda.
